Less need now for sidewalks leading to schools

I respectfully disagree. While students have the opportunity to walk to school, Bethel Park in general could benefit from better walk ability and having an alternative to taking a bus to school should be encouraged. Bussing a student two blocks to school when they could easily walk is a waste of resources that could be used elsewhere, especially with health and fitness to be concerned about. Mt Lebanon doesn't have buses at all and they are faring just fine.
